AYR Wellness Market Re-Entry, Levia Seltzers

WINTER 2024

Ayr Wellness set out on a mission to shake up the wellness scene by becoming everyone’s favorite “neighborhood store.” Taking up the challenge, I led the charge in brainstorming and planning an epic brand campaign. Our goal was simple: to make Ayr Wellness the ultimate go-to spot for all things wellness.

So, as the new year kicked off, we jumped on the chance to launch a Dry January campaign, something we’d never tried before. We put the spotlight on Levia, one of our top brands, and its lineup of tasty beverage tinctures and THC-infused seltzers. Our aim? To promote a “California sober” all throughout January in our Massachusetts, Nevada, Florida, Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania markets. This approach worked.

Sales for the seltzers increased by 18% from December, and we sold over 52,700 units—beating our initial target of 50,000.

CAMPspaces Rebranding

SPRING 2019

In my work with CAMPspace, a content creation studio for black women, I exercised my ability to transition brands from one entity to another. While the brand started as a co-working space, my work with the Founder and CEO led us to truly hone in on our audience and strategize how to meet their needs through social media marketing. We were able to gauge our audience’s behavior through engagement, re-brand the business to match that engagement, lift the barrier of business-to-business, and focus on person-to-person marketing.

Through these initiatives, CAMP emerged as a beacon of trust and creativity within the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. In March 2020, I took the helm in organizing a groundbreaking "Blogger Mixer and Brunch," inviting bloggers of color to converge at our studio for a complimentary content photoshoot. This event not only fostered connections within the influencer community but also introduced new faces to the vibrant network. With an impressive turnout of over 20 Washington, D.C. area bloggers and photographers, the event showcased the power of collaboration and community in the realm of content creation.
